Brittany Rea )pronounced RAY) is an educator and the multifaceted artist behind Rea Designs.  She is the co-owner of The Adorned Studios, and works full time as a bench jeweler at Richards & West. Brittany attended Pratt at Munson Williams-Proctor Art Institute and the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and Education. Brittany has been a ceramics instructor to students of all ages in various art centers, has assisted numerous artist workshops, and held the position of artist in residence at Sonoma Ceramics at Sonoma Community Center in California and started as a resident artist at The Adorned Studios in 2016.

Brittany’s assent into metal smithing started with ceramic jewelry. She began teaching herself metal fabrication and continued to self educate and grow her practice and studio into a full jewelers workshop. Becoming partnered in The Adorned Studios in 2017, Brittany has been teaching jewelry classes since and continues to grow and evolve as Rea Designs.
